What is AXIOM-EMU?
AXIOM-EMU is a modern, fully customizable MU Online emulator. It includes a Game Server, Data Server, Connect Server, Join Server, a web-based licensing portal, and a complete suite of editors — everything you need to run and customize your own MU Online server.
How does licensing work?
Licenses are managed through the web portal. After purchasing a package, you receive a license key that binds to your server hardware. The licensing system supports multiple server types, add-on modules, and both one-time and subscription billing.
Do I need to configure files on both client and server?
No. AXIOM-EMU uses a GameData Sync architecture — you configure game data on the server, and the client automatically receives it at connection time. This eliminates the need for maintaining duplicate configuration files.
What happens if the server crashes during a trade or Chaos Machine use?
All inventory interactions are persisted to the database in real time. Items in trade windows, the Chaos Machine, and personal stores are saved immediately. A crash or disconnect will never result in lost items.
What kind of customization is possible?
Over 100 game systems are configurable through XML — events, arenas, resets, drops, shops, monster behavior, and more.
